What do you remember most?
Did you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday? We did. At Family Staffing Solutions, Inc. we were blessed to be able to bring joy and kindness into our friends’ lives. What a reward!
Did you share family stories of holidays past? My mother told me to divide the compound word, Thanksgiving after the “thanks” and then put the “giving” part first when considering the meaning of the holiday. “Giving thanks, that’s what we are meant to do,” she said. I have always remembered her words and as I grow into the second half of my life, those words seem to take on a new meaning. I am remembering all that I have to be thankful for.
When you think about all of your Thanksgiving stories and special memories, what do you remember most? Sharing, loving, giving thanks…Who can you remember being with in those special moments? You can share your thoughts with us. We would love to hear from you.
You can begin your own Thanksgiving tradition for next year and the years to come. I have decided to record most of the memories of Thanksgivings past and share those thoughts with my own children as a new tradition.
Let’s make plans for next Thanksgiving. What will you remember most?
May your blessings be abundant.
