Laugh a little
It has been a busy November. Family Staffing Solutions had a wonderful party in Dallas last week to celebrate our ten years there. Many of our client-friends, our caregivers and our business associates came by our Dallas office to congratulate the director, Amy Rutledge and her staff including Cartie, Lorrayne, Patsy and Rachel on this achievement. The Dallas office was decorated in our favorite color, purple, and was accented by the attractive food and beautiful flowers sent in honor of the occasion. It was heartwarming to hear all the compliments paid to Amy and her staff . I felt privileged to be there to share in their joy.
I began the day with our friends at the Park Cities News. Planning is continuing for the Century Club of the Park Cities. I went on to The Forum which is an amazing place, and they have agreed to partner with the Park Cities News, Representative Dan Branch and Family Staffing Solutions and to host the premiere event of The Century Club of the Park Cities in January, 2010.
Do you know anyone who has reached the milestone of one hundred years of age in the Park Cities? Do you know anyone who is going to achieve that milestone in 2010? Please contact Family Staffing Solutions with their information. We want to honor all of these very special people.
We feel so blessed to have brought joy and comfort to our many friends in this past decade. And that is what we are truly thankful for. What are you thankful for? We would love to hear from you.
Until next time, Laugh a little and hug someone you know. These are your notes from Nancy.
Life With Choices, Senior Expo 2009
“Life with Choices” is an appropriate title for the Senior Expo 2009 in Dallas. The Jewish Community Center was buzzing with activity on October 27. Our older generation was able to gain information on a variety of subjects that affect their lives. From information on medical advances to housing, from nutrition to exercise and from alternate living choices to personal care assistance. Speaking of the latter, Family Staffing Solutions, Inc. was represented by Amy Rutledge, Director of the Dallas office and Lorrayne Moorehead in Marketing for the same. The event provided a great opportunity for meeting new friends and catching up with those we already have the pleasure of knowing.
Many attendees noticed and admired our colorful display and also commented on our lollipop tree. Everyone loves the chance to pull a lollipop and receive a prize. We had some great giveaways. Becci Bookner’s books, Good Manners for Great Caregivers and Patterns of the Heart were very popular with the crowd. We truly enjoyed ourselves.
Barbecue at Houston’s with my friends at the Park Cities News was a delight. Excellent food, excellent company, beautiful weather… what could be better?
November 20, 2009 is our Tenth Anniversary celebration in the Dallas office. I am really looking forward to meeting many of our friends at the OPEN HOUSE. I hope to see you there from two to six o’clock P.M.
With blessings to your home from ours, these are your notes from,
Nancy
